TV show host-actress Kris Aquino expresses her loyal support to her older brother President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. This is after the bashing of Vice President Jejomar Binay against the PNoy administration on Wednesday.

"It's perfectly reasonable for to stand by his allies, but he has never dictated to me or my sisters to 'unfriend' those he has come into disagreement with. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, my heart and my prayers will always be with PNoy," Kris stated.

The bond and political allegiance of the Aquino and Binay families are known to many.

During the dictatorship regime of Marcos, Binay was in the opposition party, who is practicing as a human rights lawyer. He was with Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., Kris and PNoy’s father.

In the previous publications, Binay also mentioned that the boom of his political career is brought by the late president Corazon “Cory” Aquino (mother of Kris and PNoy).

When Cory was elected as president on 1986 after a peaceful EDSA 1 People Power revolution, she appointed Binay to be the officer-in-charge of Makati.
Until now, the Binay family administers the city.

On August 2014, Kris said that she did not find wrong if Binay will be the standard bearer of Liberal Party in 2016 presidential elections even if Binay is not a member of the party.

Binay is the head of the opposition party United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).

Moreover, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, one of the Aquino sisters said she is not against the idea of Binay as the administration candidate. She said if Binay has the same desire with PNoy, it would be good.

After winning in the 2010 elections, Aquino appointed Binay to be a member of the Cabinet as the housing czar and adviser on migrant worker’s affairs.
However, after five years, Binay resigned from his post and bashed PNoy administration as callous and ineffectual.

Binay said in his speech on Wednesday that his desire is the same with the people who wants a completely opposite government of today which is unfeeling and incompetent.
